different sized casks. . . now, if i remember correctly, the #1 cask was the 'cooper' cask which was there for the cask makers. . . and oddly enough, when they were later discontinued it was discovered that the wall thickness of the cooper cask was substantially thinner than normal casks.. . . clever coopers.
