my aunt and uncle came up for a visit during indian market. one of the big unveilings of the weekend was a new statue of the saint kateri takakwitha (pronounced Gah-deh-lee Deh-gah-quee-tah) outside the St. Francis church. you may ask, how does she come up with this stuff, well i chose this saint for my patron saint during my confirmation, and a couple of my mom's mohawk friends explained her name to me. . . here's a shot. . .
