here's the vegas sign that the apprentices made for the prop tart coronation. too bad i can't load some video. . . the lights on the outside of the sign chase!

this was bought at toys r us as part of the opening night festivities. the 'slow kid' came out when either our crew, or other crews were performing, well, slowly at their tasks. a source of great amusement. . . well, for us at least :)

so amy mark was the orchestra services supervisor this year. we saw each other in passing throughout the summer, hung out a bit at the beginning, and here at the end. she had a good summer, and it was comforting to have someone from school around. sadly, our schedules didn't allow us to spend a whole lot of time together during the throws of the summer.

we did the georgia o'keefe hike again this year. it was hot, as usual. and lee here had a few phases of hotness. first, with shirt and tank, then just tank, then neither. . . and how could i stop from taking this shot with all the clouds.

so, on one of our final days off, a group of us hopped in my rental car and headed out to find put put golf. . . however, we found a family fun center in albuquerque that had go carts, bumper boats, lasertag, arcade, paintball, and lots of other fun bits. here's chris in his go cart.
